We all know that electricity can kill; there are over 1000 electrical incidents reported every year concerning electricity within the workplace, and around 40 of these are fatal.

Regular checks of electrical appliances and equipment can help reduce incidents (serious and fatal) within the workplace and help maintain a safe working environment for all.

Reasons for Electrical Appliances Testing
  • Minimise risk of death or injury,
  • To yourself, your employees and visitors to your premises,
  • Risk of fire through faulty electrical appliances,
  • Legal requirements - Health & Safety regulations,
  • Insurance requirements,
  • Many insurance companies require Electrical Appliances Testing and Tagging. Your insurance policy may be invalidated if you have not complied with Electrical Testing and Tagging requirements so any claims made on the policy could be refused.
